Today we celebrate Bilala Kanye Mabuza, the woman at the head of Cocoon Lifestyle, a boutique Interior Design & Décor Studio based in Kramerville Design District, Johannesburg. She is an entrepreneur with a strong and growing footprint in the design industry in South Africa. 

Behind her obvious sense of style and uncompromising work ethic, Bilala is also known for her support of local artists, designers, and the greater creative community.

Now, Bilala is one of the esteemed members of Design Joburg 2022’s Creative Panel, overseeing the creative direction of the show by creating an experience that captures the décor and design scene in South Africa right now.
