Janine channels her Mermaizing-ness into each and every one of her custom designed and expert made pieces. Always on the lookout for pioneering new trends, Janine’s ombré jewellery collection embraces the unique power and sentiment of colour and has taken South Africa by storm since the launch of this range in 2018.

A qualified master goldsmith and gemmologist, Janine’s creative eye, expertise and twenty-five years in the industry comes into its own with her one-off precious diamond and gem jewellery designs. Whether she reimagines much-loved family stones into new pieces with classic yet 21st century appeal or lovingly crafts an engagement ring for the perfect proposal there is no doubt that a Janine Binneman piece of jewellery will be cherished for generations to come.

Outside of jewellery, Janine spends her time amongst friends in nature. Her love for the Cape and its picturesque surroundings wakes her weekly at 4am to ensure she captures the sunrise and a quick yoga session. If you do not spot Janine on the mountain, you will more than likely see her mermaid tail in Dalebrook pool (with Café Latte in hand) or fast walking in Tokai forest with her beloved hounds. At home Janine is equally as busy with her surf-loving husband, two creative daughter’s and fur-mom to 2 dogs, 6 cats and 3 tortoises.
